A non-for-profit organization offering religious and cultural services to Muslim communities in New York and the Tri-State area, established 1995 and registered under New York Religious Corporation Law. Occupies a multi-storey, 36,000+ sq ft building constructed by the Alavi Foundation, which has granted its use to the Institute. Also known as Imam Ali Center; shares its building with Razi School.
