Bilal Muslim Mission of Americas (Imam-e-Zamana Mission)

The first Shia Muslim center established in the Caribbean, acquired and set up with the help of the Bilal Muslim Mission of Americas (BMMA), incorporated in New York in 1993 to propagate the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt and support Shia communities and outreach. The Port of Spain property is a reinforced concrete and steel structure of three floors totaling over 12,000 sq. ft.; its top floor serves as the prayer hall and teaching space for the Imam-e-Zamana Mission, with further floors planned for a daycare/vocational training center and ground-floor shops and a library.
