Asaad Alassadi

Shaykh Asaad Alassadi completed his university education and pursued religious studies at the seminary of Karbala. In the year 2000, he relocated to Boise, Idaho, dedicating himself to serving the Muslim community. He was the founder and Imam of the Imam Mahdi Islamic Center, leading and supporting the Iraqi, Iranian, and Afghan communities for 14 years. Since 2014, he has been the Imam and founder of the Imam Hussein Islamic Center, focusing on the Iraqi and broader Arab community. He holds a Master of Visual Arts from Boise State University (2010) and actively guides Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and serves as an Islamic preacher in American prisons.
