Abbas Al-Baghdadi

Shaykh Abbas Haidar Ali Al-Hirali Al-Baghdadi was born in Baghdad, Iraq. He moved to Iran to pursue formal studies in Islamic sciences at the seminaries, then continued in Isfahan studying jurisprudence and principles of jurisprudence until 1992. He later enrolled in the Faculty of Sharia at the Islamic University in London through correspondence. Since 1987, he has been actively involved in public speaking, religious propagation, and leading mourning sessions for Imam Hussain in the United States and Canada. He currently serves in Calgary at the Imam Ali Center, offering religious lectures, resolving family and social disputes, and providing personal services to the community.
