Hazem al-Zirjawi

Shaykh al-Zirjawi graduated from Baghdad Technical Institute in 1986 and joined the Islamic seminary in Qom, Iran, in 1988. He studied fiqh under Ayatullah Mirza Jawad Tabrizi and usul al-fiqh under Shaykh Hussain Wahid Khurasani, with additional theological and philosophical studies under Shaykh Jaafar Sobhani and Sayyid al-Haidary. He has taught seminary classes in Canada and the United States, as well as courses for the Islamic University in London. A scholar, researcher, and lecturer, he has authored research articles and two unpublished manuscripts, and has delivered sermons and lectures for over two decades. He currently serves as a scholar and educator at I.M.A.M.
