Mir Hasan Mir

Mir Hasan Mir is a world-famous Shia Pakistani Noha, Naat and Manqabat reciter and poet, well known in both the Shia and Sunni communities and widely regarded as one of the foremost Noha Khwaans of the present era for his distinctive style of recitation. He began reciting as a young boy alongside his grandfather at Moharram gatherings in Jhampir, a small village near Karachi, before attending mehfils in Karachi itself and gradually gaining recognition across Pakistan and internationally. He completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1998 and, being the youngest in his family, devoted himself fully to manqabat khwani, beginning international tours in 1999.
