Hasnain Kassamali

Shaykh Hasnain Kassamali is the founder and religious director of the Academy for Learning Islam (A.L.I.). He has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Islamic Studies from the University of British Columbia. In 2001, whilst in Richmond, BC, Canada, he founded A.L.I. He continues to teach short Islamic courses in-person and online under A.L.I. to this day, making Islamic education accessible to Shia Muslims across North America and beyond.
