Navid Mohammadzadeh

Navid Mohammadzadeh (born 6 September 1982 in Tehran, Iran) is one of Iran's most celebrated and critically acclaimed actors, known for his intense, emotionally powerful performances across film and theatre. He studied acting at the prestigious Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Art in Tehran, establishing a strong foundation in classical theatre before transitioning to film.

He first gained wide attention for his stage work before making a significant impact on Iranian cinema. His film career accelerated with roles that showcased his ability to inhabit complex, morally ambiguous characters with remarkable depth. He is best known internationally for his starring role in Just 6.5 (Metri Shesh va Nim, 2019), directed by Saeed Roustaee, in which he plays Nasser Khakzad, a drug lord whose capture becomes an obsession for an anti-narcotics detective.
