Faiyaz Jaffer

Shaykh Dr. Faiyaz Jaffer is the Research Scholar and Associate Chaplain at the Islamic Center at NYU and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU's Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He holds a doctorate in education from NYU, focusing on the identity development of Shia youth in the U.S., and has studied Islamic sciences in the Seminary of Karbala, Iraq. A prominent lecturer and interfaith advocate, he speaks at events across North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He is also a researcher and writer for I.M.A.M., with academic work featured in scholarly journals.
