Mateen Charbonneau

Shaykh Mateen Adam Charbonneau, a French-Canadian American, began his Hawza studies in 2013 at the Imam Ali Center in Virginia and continued in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. He has authored several books, filmed documentaries about his spiritual journey, and lectured internationally. He founded 2nd Chance Books in 2014, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading Islamic knowledge, and currently serves as the resident scholar for the Antalya, Turkey community while continuing his outreach efforts.
