Tomb of Sayyid Ala'ed-Din Husayn

Mausoleum in south-east Shiraz, Iran, holding the remains of Sayyid Ala'ed-Din Husayn, a son of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kadhim and brother of Sayyid Ahmad, whose own shrine (Shah Cheragh) is also in Shiraz. Constructed in the 10th Islamic century, the mausoleum's interior is noted for intricate mirror and colored-glass mosaic work, and it has been rebuilt several times after earthquake damage.
