Imamzadeh Saleh

Shrine in Tehran's Tajrish district holding the tomb of Saleh, a son of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kazim and a brother of Imam Ali al-Ridha. According to tradition, Saleh was martyred near this spot while traveling from Iraq to visit his brother after Imam Ridha's appointment as crown prince. Rebuilt and expanded across the Safavid and Qajar eras, it is now one of northern Tehran's most visited pilgrimage sites.
