Mausoleum of Aun ibn Abdullah

Mausoleum near Karbala honoring Aun ibn Abdullah, a son of Zaynab bint Ali who accompanied his uncle Imam Husayn from Mecca to Kufa and was martyred alongside him on the Day of Ashura in 680 CE. The site is a traditional stop for pilgrims visiting the wider Karbala area, often paired with a visit to the nearby mausoleum of the sons of Muslim ibn Aqil.
